It is 1:45 AM and after 2 Benadryls, 2 Aleves and 1 Lunestra i am still wide awake. Maybe it is the after effects of two days of being sick with fever and possibly the rotten Angus Burger from Burger King i had Saturday afternoon. The only relief i had was vomiting my innards out and staying in bed. It gave me a lot of time to think.
I want to go on record of supporting my President on his steps of securing the Mexican border. Stop the masses from coming accross now and then deal with those 12,000,000 that are here illegally. I am fully aware he cannot satisfy the Democrats, but who cares as long as he gets the job done.
I also think the Duke LaCrosse team is being falsely accused based on what is being told on the news. I think Dickie Baby should go down there and get all that mess straightened out. Who really knows what went on there anyway.
I agree with Emily Webster in her article in Church & Family Magazine titled Satan's Finest Foot Soldiers. She talks about spiritual contentment. Christians who are content with their spirituality serve as Satan's finest foot soldiers in his battle against Jesus Christ. She further states, Satan has tricked millions of people into believing that going to church makes them okay or allowing them to say the sinner's prayer allows them to do whatever they want. He has convinced hundreds of thousands of a false security-they can live however they want and still be saved.(My comment, I see this feeling toward homosexuality fitting into this situation by some in the church today) Each time Satan convinces just one person to believe these fallacies, he wins not only the soul of the believer but also hundreds of souls influenced by the believer.
Webster continues stating many Americans claim Christianity because it is the socially cool thing to do. Why do you think millions of WWJD bracelets have been sold in the US or that every jewelery department has at least one piece of religious jewelery? It may be that the world's largest Christian population lives in the US, where we recite "One Nation Under God" and "In God We Trust." She states, "Lets face it. Christianity is the popular name to wear in America
She further writes,Unfortunately, though, this precious and powerful name is oftentime worn very loosely, without a thought of what it really means. It is no surprise that the person sitting behind you in class, cussing and swearing, is wearing a cross around his neck. The same can be said of a person wearing a WWJD bracelet cheating on a test. She also states for example, Fellowship of Christian Athletes have a good percentage of students who openly cheat and curse and are sexually active. One instance at a recent meeting, only one-fourth of the members present attended any church related activities. She states this is a reflection of our whole societyj many of whom Satan has exactly where he wants them-riding the fence. God calls us to be either hot or cold
The latter part of the article she states we should never be content with our spiritual lives. It is true that God is not finished with us yet- But we must yield to him before he can help us become the people he created us to be.

Emily Webster was a senior from Milton Florida at the time she wrote this article in 2000. The content was condensed from a speech she made that year at the national convention of Lads to Leaders in Atlanta. This was not the full article, i just picked out some segments to use. It is encourageing to see this type of messeges from some of our younger future leaders.
